FAQ
Everything you need to know before booking a discovery call. If something isn't covered here, email us.
A sprint is one week of dedicated build time. Our team takes an agreed scope — a specific tool or feature — and designs, builds, tests, and deploys it to your production environment. You see working software by the end of the week.
Simpler tools ship in a single sprint. More complex builds may take two to four. The scope of every sprint is agreed in writing before work begins, so you always know what you're getting and what it costs.
It's a 45-minute video call. You walk us through your top operational pain points — the manual processes, the spreadsheet workarounds, the things your team wastes time on. We ask questions, map the workflows, and identify the one problem that has the highest impact and lowest complexity to solve first.
By the end of the call you'll have a clear picture of what we'd build, how long it would take, and what it would cost. No obligation beyond that.
For well-scoped, self-contained tools — a dashboard replacing a spreadsheet, a form replacing an email chain, an approval flow replacing a manual process — we routinely ship in four to five days from sprint kickoff.
Billing only starts from deployment. If a sprint runs over for reasons on our side, you don't pay until it's in production.
If something we built doesn't function as scoped, we fix it at no charge — no new sprint required. This covers anything where the delivered software doesn't match the agreed specification.
If you want to change the scope — add a feature, adjust a workflow, extend the tool — that's a new sprint, which we scope and quote before starting. The distinction is clear: bugs are on us, changes are a new conversation.
One week of dedicated engineering time: scoping, design, build, testing, and deployment to production. A dedicated project manager runs the sprint and keeps you updated. The sprint fee covers everything needed to get the agreed scope live.
It does not cover ongoing hosting, maintenance, or support — those are covered by the monthly Platform Fee.
The Platform Fee is a recurring monthly subscription that covers: hosted infrastructure for your tools, maintenance and updates, access to the jig client dashboard, and an AI support agent trained on your specific tools.
Your first tool runs on the Free plan at $0/month with no time limit. As you add more tools or users, you move to a paid plan. Full details are on the pricing page.
Sprint fees: You only pay for active sprint weeks. If you don't want to start a new sprint, there's nothing to cancel — you simply don't commission one.
Platform Fee: Cancel anytime from your dashboard. Takes effect at the end of the billing period. No penalties, no lock-in, no questions asked. Your tools and data remain available for 30 days after cancellation to allow for migration.
No. Every sprint is scoped and priced before work begins. Changes beyond the agreed scope require a new sprint, which is quoted and approved before any work starts. There are no overage charges, no setup fees, and no exit costs.
Third-party service costs (e.g. SMS APIs, specific data providers) would be passed through at cost if required — but these would be discussed and agreed during scoping, never a surprise.
Any custom internal software: operations dashboards, workflow automation, approval flows, custom CRMs, reporting tools, data entry interfaces, HR and onboarding flows, integration layers between existing systems. If it's internal, process-driven, and currently lives in a spreadsheet or email chain, we can build it.
We don't build customer-facing products, public websites, or mobile apps as a primary output.
Yes. Integration with your existing tools is often part of the scope — pulling data from your CRM, pushing updates to your ERP, syncing with your accounting system, or reading from your databases. We discuss integrations during discovery and they're scoped as part of the sprint.
We choose the right tool for the job, but our default stack is modern, well-supported, and intentionally simple to hand off: React frontends, Node.js or Python backends, PostgreSQL databases, hosted on managed cloud infrastructure. Everything is written to be readable and maintainable by any competent engineer.
If you have specific technology requirements or an existing stack you want to extend, we discuss this during discovery.
Yes, completely. Every line of code written for your tools is your property from the moment it's delivered. You can request a full source code export at any time, at no charge. There are no clauses that prevent you from using, modifying, or deploying the code independently.
No. When you cancel, we export your complete data and source code. You can take them and run the tools on your own infrastructure, hand them to another developer, or archive them. The 30-day hosted window after cancellation is there to give you time to migrate without any rush.
In the event Skaleminds ceases operations, all clients receive a complete export of their data and source code unconditionally — no cost, no conditions attached. This is written into our Terms of Service. Your tools are built to run independently of our infrastructure.
Your workspace at yourcompany.withjig.com. From here you can access and launch all your live tools, track active sprint progress, manage team members and permissions, view billing and usage, and request new tools or changes — all without contacting us for routine operations.
Every tool we build gets an AI agent trained on that specific tool — its logic, its fields, its workflows. Your team can ask it usage questions 24/7 and get answers without raising a support ticket. It's included on all plans, and it's specific to your tools, not a generic chatbot.
Yes. Each client has logically isolated infrastructure — separate databases, separate environments. Your data is never stored alongside another client's data, and there is no cross-tenant exposure by architecture.
Yes. We act as data processor for any personal data within your tools — you remain the data controller. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request. EU data residency is available on Enterprise plans. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
Yes. We provide a completed security questionnaire, sub-processor list, and DPA on request. Email hello@withjig.com and we'll respond within two business days.
